Lindsay Pochynuk Elected President and Chair of the Board at the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association

Lindsay Pochynuk, Clark Roofing (1964) Ltd., Saskatoon SK has been elected as the president and chair of the board at the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA). Lindsay officially took over the role from Pierre Lafontaine, Groupe Raymond – Les Toitures Raymond/Raymond Roofing, QC/ON after CRCA’s Annual General Meeting and conference held in St. John’s NL from May 25 to 28, 2023.

In his inaugural address to CRCA members, Mr. Pochynuk thanked Mr. Lafontaine, for his commitment and leadership in the industry and CRCA. Mr. Pochynuk added, “the CRCA has an important national leadership role, we are all struggling to find qualified and new entrants into the roofing sector. Working alongside our provincial affiliates and other members, the CRCA is best positioned to be our Canadian leader in promoting roofing careers.”

Lindsay was raised in Saskatoon Saskatchewan and was introduced to the roofing industry when his father hired him as a general labourer for the family business, Clark Roofing (1964) Ltd. Upon completion of high school, Lindsay joined the business and spent the next decade “on the tools”, learning the roofing and sheet metal trade before moving into the office to apply his knowledge to estimating. Alongside his father (Wayne) and his brother (Tyler), the business expanded to four locations throughout Saskatchewan, employing a workforce of over 100 personnel and in 2020, Lindsay and Tyler became the sole owners of Clark Roofing (1964) Ltd.
