CRCA announces the 2022 Frank Ladner Award recipient
The Canadian Roofing Contractors Association is pleased to announce that Gary Hamilton, retired from the New Brunswick Roofing Contractors Association (NBRCA) and Master Roofers Guarantee of New Brunswick Ltd. (MRGNB) is the 2022 recipient of the Frank Ladner Award.
For more than 50 plus years, Gary has been a huge contributor to the roofing industry at the Provincial and National level. ln 2011, Gary joined the NBRCA and MRGNB as their Technical Manager and in August of 2020 became their Senior Technical Manager. Gary was a long-time member on CRCA National Technical Committee and key contributor to their work.
Gary is regarded as a Building Envelope expert witness in the New Brunswick Court of Queen’s Bench. Gary has a very special place with IIBEC having both RRO and RRC designations. He continues to serve on various IIBEC committees to improve the quality of roofing in North America. Gary retired in 2021, but in 2022 he came out of retirement to join Fishburn Sheridan & Associates Atlantic as their Senior Engineer.
The CRCA Frank Ladner Award recognizes a person for their technical contribution to the roofing industry. Eligible nominees will have demonstrated the quality of providing technical knowledge to the roofing industry.
