CRCA Announces Roofing Canada Award Winner

The Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) has announced that for the second consecutive year, Flynn Canada Ltd. is the recipient of its annual Roofing Canada Award for their work on the Bow Valley College Green Roof project. The award was presented at the association’s Annual General Meeting held May 4, 2015 in Vancouver.

The Bow Valley College Green Roof work consisted of vegetative and LEED reflective roofing systems. Flynn supplied and installed approximately 4,000 plant plugs and seeding resulting in a fourth floor green roof which has areas for lounging and eating for students of the College.

“Winning this award is a very significant achievement and CRCA congratulates Flynn on their back to back accomplishment. We are proud to count them as one of our members,” stated Bob Brunet CRCA’s Executive Director. This award winning project will be highlighted in the Fall/Winter issue of Roofing Canada.

The Roofing Canada Award recognizes a project completed by a CRCA member based on outstanding workmanship, innovation, service to the community and or service to the industry. All entries were judged by their peers for their significant contribution to the roofing industry.
