CRCA Announces Roofing Canada Award Winner
OTTAWA, ONTARIO–(June 5, 2014) – The Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) has announced that Flynn Canada Ltd. is the recipient of its annual Roofing Canada Award for their work on the Calgary West LRT Extension. The award was presented at the association’s Annual General Meeting held June 5, 2014 in Quebec City.
The Calgary West LRT Extension consisted of the construction of six LRT stations that was completed in 2012. The stations consist of elliptical shaped copper standing seam, SBS modified bitumen and TPO roofs.
“CRCA received seven excellent project entries this year and selecting one project to earn the award this year was extremely difficult,” stated Bob Brunet CRCA’s Executive Director. This award winning project will be highlighted in the Fall/Winter issue of Roofing Canada.
The Roofing Canada Award recognizes a project completed by a CRCA member based on outstanding workmanship, innovation, service to the community and service to the industry. All entries were judged by their peers for their significant contribution to the roofing industry.
