Jason Baptist Elected President and Chairman of the Board of the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association

Ottawa, Ontario — (June 2, 2016) – Jason Baptist, Century Roofing & Sheet Metal Ltd., Saskatoon, has been elected as the next president and chairman of the board of the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA). Baptist will serve for the 2016-2017 year and was confirmed during CRCA’s 57th Annual Conference and AGM held May 29-30 in Halifax.

“Jason has a terrific grasp of the issues facing the industry,” says Bob Brunet, CRCA’s Executive Director. “He brings a great collaborative style to the board that will suit him well in this position of leadership and will no doubt make him an excellent CRCA president.”

Baptist joined the CRCA board of directors in June 2013 and served as the 1st vice president from 2015- 2016. Baptist has been a Saskatchewan Roofing Contractors Association (SRCA) board member for 6 years. In 2013, he served as SRCA’s president and today continues to serve on the board as a director. He is also dedicates his time to the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship Board.

Baptist will begin his one-year term as the highest-ranking officer of the association on May 31, 2016.
