Honourary Membership

Recognizing a Legacy of Leadership and Service

CRCA’s Honourary Membership program recognizes individuals whose significant contributions, leadership, and commitment have advanced the Association and strengthened the roofing and related sheet metal industry.

This distinguished recognition is reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the advancement of CRCA, the profession, and the industry as a whole. Through their leadership, volunteer service, advocacy, mentorship, or industry achievements, Honourary Members have left a lasting and meaningful impact on the Canadian roofing community.

Eligibility

Nominees must have made significant contributions to the advancement of CRCA or to the roofing and related sheet metal industry through their leadership, service, expertise, or commitment to the profession.

Nominations

Nominations must be submitted by December 31 of each year.

To nominate an individual for Honourary Membership, please submit the Honourary Membership Nomination Form.

Nominations may be submitted by individuals employed by the roofing contracting company being nominated. Nominations may also be submitted by CRCA Active, Active-at-Large, and Associate Members, as well as CRCA Affiliate Associations.

Privileges

Individuals granted Honourary Membership are recognized for their exceptional service and enduring contribution to both CRCA and the Canadian roofing industry.

Honourary Members are entitled to all privileges of Active Membership in CRCA, with the exception of holding elective office, and remain subject to the provisions of the Association’s By-Laws.

Recipients are formally recognized by the Association and may be featured in Roofing Canada Magazine, on the CRCA website, through CRCA’s social media channels, and in other association communications, celebrating their achievements and lasting impact on the industry.

Their recognition serves as a lasting tribute to the leadership, dedication, and service that have helped shape and strengthen the Canadian roofing and related sheet metal industry.
