CRCA Announces Roofing Canada Award Winner
Ottawa, Ontario — (May 10, 2018) – The Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) has announced that Bothwell Accurate Co. Ltd., from Mississauga Ontario is the recipient of its annual Roofing Canada Award for their work on the York University Station – Toronto Transit Commission in Toronto. The award was presented at the association’s Annual General Meeting held May 6, 2018 in Saint John, NB.
The work dons a 1140 square meter inverted roof of flowing compound curves connected to an undulating perimeter gutter system. Three job realities combined to set this project apart from others: a compressed work schedule, a high-profile project owned by the Toronto Transit Commission, and an inverted roof of free form geometry. They key to Bothwell Accurate’s successful delivery was building a team of experts. This team leveraged technology, maintained close communication and hit every delivery date committed in each of their contracts.
“Winning this award is a very significant achievement and CRCA congratulates the team at Bothwell Accurate. We are proud to count them as one of our members,” stated Bob Brunet CRCA’s Executive Director. This award-winning project will be highlighted in the 2018 Fall/Winter issue of Roofing Canada magazine.
The Roofing Canada Award recognizes a project completed by a CRCA member based on outstanding workmanship, innovation, service to the community and or service to the industry. All entries were judged by their roofing industry peers.
