Truchon Toiture et Imperméabilisation Wins 2026 Roofing Canada Award
Ottawa, ON — June 6, 2026 — The Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) is proud to announce that Truchon Toiture et Imperméabilisation Inc. has been named the recipient of the 2026 Roofing Canada Award, one of the industry’s highest national honours recognizing excellence in roofing across Canada.
The award was presented during the CRCA President’s Gala and Awards Dinner, on May 29th, 2026, held as part of the Association’s National Conference.
This year’s winning project, Victoria sur le Parc in downtown Montréal, showcased outstanding technical expertise, innovation, and execution on a highly complex, multi-level high-rise development.
A Landmark Project Demonstrating Technical Excellence
Completed in December 2024, Victoria sur le Parc is a striking 58-storey mixed-use tower featuring residential, commercial, and shared spaces. The roofing and waterproofing scope involved work across 17 different levels, incorporating a variety of systems including elastomeric membranes, hot-applied rubberized systems, green roofing elements, terraces, and ballast assemblies.
Truchon Toiture et Imperméabilisation successfully delivered:
- Over 50,000 square feet of roofing and waterproofing systems
- Complex installations at extreme heights, including upper levels exceeding 50 storeys
- Integration of green roof systems and multi-use terrace spaces
- Coordination across multiple trades in a dense urban construction environment
- Year-round execution through challenging seasonal conditions
The project required precise planning, advanced logistics, and seamless collaboration across teams to ensure safe and efficient material handling and installation in downtown Montréal.
