Jacques Chevalier Scholarship Award Winners 2022
January 9, 2023 – The Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) is pleased to announce that the winners of the 2022 Jacques Chevalier Scholarship Award are Ms. Isabell Nicholson and Ms. Valerie Steckle.
Ms. Isabell Nicholson, is preparing to attend Simon Fraser University in British Columbia to complete a Bachelor of Art in Criminology. Her father, Jim Nicholson is the General Manager at Parker Johnston Industries Ltd., in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Ms. Valerie Steckle, is attending the Schulich School of Medicine in London (Ontario) and completing a Doctorate of Medicine degree. Her mother Kathy Steckle is the Controller at Smith Peat Roofing and Sheet Metal in Exeter, Ontario.
The Jacques Chevalier Scholarship is awarded based on academic achievement, personality and leadership qualities and enrollment at a Canadian College or University. CRCA active member companies’ full-time employees or their immediate family members are eligible for the scholarship.
